Georgia-
Disappointed for sure.
Aaron Murray looks like he could grow into a big league QB though.....

meh... frustrating to watch, but think the future is BRIGHT. O-Line is currently 3 freshman and 2 sophomores and we can actually run the ball.

I thought defense would be USC's strength during the transition. Turns out, not so much.

Bama - I can live with it as I never expected another 12-0 regular season. I hoped for one but didn't expect it. The last half of the season isn't going to get any easier.

TTU........ Like i did last season..... so far.
Tech is still trying to find itself..... The coaches are getting better, dropping some of teh pride they had... letting the players they have "play" and not trying to fix what was not broken....
Special teams is killing us... 2 returned Onside kicks for TD's in 2 weeks? Fake punts getting 30+ yards? Missed easy FGs... just a nightmare..
But all in all, i feel like we still have a shot... I think that Tech can win the rest of there games.... i say "CAN".... 90% sure we go 4-3 the rest of the way, but we "Can" win them.... I see a lot of losses in the South.... I see Texas losing 2 more, OU losing 2, OSU losing 2, TAMU losing another...... just i see Kaos in the South....

Although UF is about what I expected, it doesn't make it any more enjoyable.

Ask me in 17 days.
So far.....
Top 10, but overrated I think. Cam Newton, not overrated I think. Defense just not quite good enough against the pass. Need some lock-down corners. Average kicking game. Maybe slightly below average. Seems to figure out a way to win. We'll see if that continues.
The real problem comes next year. This team is laden with Seniors. There are few Juniors or Sophomores from the 2007 and 2008 classes. It'll be a do-over.

WVU--About where I expected record-wise. The LSU game was a little disappointing because it was winnable. Could have used a little better showing in all of the games up until UNLV.

Well I thought the Irish would be at 4-2 right now. I didnt think they would lose to Stanford this season, but all and all I am pretty happy.
The offense looks really good at times and then looks horrible other times. I think they need to work on being more consistent. Turnovers are killing them at times. It seems they only turn the ball when they are inside the 20 on each side of the field.
As for the defense overall I think they have played well enough in each to win each game except the Stanford loss.

Ecstatic. Lattimore is everything advertised and more. Jeffrey and Gurley are playing lights-out. Garcia is playing well except for the 4th quarter at Auburn. The defense doesn't seem to be missing Norwood at all, and the secondary is even better than last year. A great year to be a South Carolina fan.

s-pwnz - you've been there before the past few years. I really hope this year doesn't end the way the last few have. You were the best team on the field last weekend by the only stat that matters and that is final score. I'd love to say that we will meet you again in Atlanta but our schedule isn't much easier than yours. And yes - Lattimore can run the shit out of the ball.

I'm disappointed in the playcalling and the fact that they have not adapted the offense to better fit Brantley's skills. He is more of a pocket passer, than a leader of the spread offense. They should take advantage of this and adapt a little. They need to put in a bigger back to pick up the blitz for Brantley, also. I can not recall seeing a running back block for Brantley, one time, this season.

Auburn? Happy. Tentatively. I want them to continue to find ways to win but also find ways to improve.
On offense I've enjoyed Cam Newton and hope he continues to grow. I want to see more out of the receivers. We have Adams, Zachery, and Blake but it would be nice if Reed got healthy enough to see the field. I like how Dyer runs but he and Fannin need to hold on to the ball. McCalebb has gotten better at running north and south. One more running back like Lattimore would have been DEVASTATING.
On defense I think we play too safe. Our whole defense plan seems to be 'don't give up the deep ball'. Which is great if we wrap up tackles. Too often we don't and it leads to a team lik Kentucky pushing us to the limit.
Special teams needs work. It's better than last year but that's like saying one piece of shit smells better than another piece of shit. Byrum's fine but we don't get enough out of our kick coverage.
Overall I want Chizik to quit relying on that one thing to get us to win games. For instance, Miss State it was clear he thought that they were not good enough on O and relied on the D to win that game. It worked. Barely. For Clemson he relied on the crowd to pull the team back into the game and to carry us to victory. It worked. Barely. At Kentucky he relied on the offense to carry the day. So much so he basically conceded a field goal at the half. It worked. Barely.
With our offense we should take it balls to the wall and not let up until it's time to. That's our strength ultimately.

If LSU beats McNeese State this weekend it will be the first time they've been 7 - 0 since 1973. Hard to be disappointed by that. I just wish they would win them more comfortably.

meh... frustrating to watch, but think the future is BRIGHT. O-Line is currently 3 freshman and 2 sophomores and we can actually run the ball. after further review... I limited my response to just how I felt about the Vols, but that isn't what the question asks. I am pretty gassy today. Had a cheese burger and fries at lunch, and really feel bad for my coworkers as I am in the office today. I feel like if I let out a major one, I will feel much better. But I don't want my coworkers thinking I am gross.

In the Elevator it is the best place especially when you can release it and get off on a floor that has a large group getting on.

Me, always gassy Brad. I got a much needed set of hearing aids only to find out that my silent ones weren't so silent. I have to find ways to be more tactical, the element of surprise (not a fart with a lump) is always good.
The Vols, I have seen bright spots and total failure at some levels. We have looked much better than expected at points, and much worse at points. The UAB game was horrible. The UGA game, we didn't have a clue. The future might be better, but DD better recruit. You can't surprise someone every week in the SEC.

Washington- impatient. I've been waiting for them do bounce back and at least go bowling for about 5 years, and the overall talent level is just bad and not improving fast enough. I guess there is still time to bounce back, but it's a pretty steep climb already.

Dawgs- Yeah dissapointed, but still a damn dawgs fan!!!!!!!!! I see a bright future for Murray, and the WR corp seems to have picked it up a bit with the return of Green, or maybe that is just an illusion. The Offensive line has been dismal, but last week they seemed to provide a better pocket for Murray at times, and did slightly better on run plays. The TE's really need to be emphasized more in the games than they have been. Defense- I think we all expected a BIG learning curve and adjustment with these guys. I was severely dissapointed with Smiths play, and Boynkin seems to be improving in his one on one coverages. The safeties have blown way to many assignments, and been burned on mulitple occasions. I hope they can continue to improve there. Special teams- Been good about as expected. Overall- They could have easily won a couple of more games without all the mistakes, and last saturday was improved and hopefully the trend will continue the rest of the season.
