So, basically, what we have here is a family of liars, cheaters, and thieves, of which one is a great CFB player and has a fanbase that will defend him to the end. There's no way that the NCAA will just let this go on a technicality that Auburn fans are whining about. No effing way. WOW! With that indictment, I'll just bow out of what, up to now, has been an intelligent conversation. And, yeah, until he breaks some rule or does something to demonstrate that he doesn't deserve our support, we will defend him to the end. Why wouldn't you do the same? WAR EAGLE!! So, which part of my statement is false? We know that Cecil has admitted to lying. We know about the laptop, and whether Cam stole it or bought it, he knew it was stolen and painted it to disguise it. In my book, that's just as bad as stealing it. The academic cheating hasn't been proven, but he didn't deny it, so that expresses guilt, in and of itself. And, there's no doubt that Auburn fans are defending him, so, again I ask, what part of my statement is false?

There is a part of Clay's piece that I do disagree with..........
These guys can go pro, without college, if they wish. They can try out for AFL teams, and such. NFL teams even have open tryouts. Unfortunately, most kids out of high school do not possess the talent, nor the physicality, to make it in the NFL. They should be happy that the colleges are giving them the opportunity to hone their craft, and their bodies, and provide them with a free education on top of it. The cry to pay CFB players is absurd.

Oh Fuck if hearing about this for a week before the UGA game was not bad enough, Now we have to put up with this shit from Bama fans until the Iron bowl. I guess we will then have to hear the same old song and dance from USC fans until the CCG. Then if Auburn is still undefeated, We will hear about this from our Local Oregon and Boise fan base (dbp). I think this dead horse has been beaten to a bloody rotten pulp by now.
For those that have not heard:
Entertainment Tonight still reminds you that Anna Nicole Smith has died, at least 5 or 6 times a year
Obama still thinks it is all Bush's fault
Pelosi is detached from reality
The Tobacco and Alcohol Lobby are keeping Pot illegal
The did not find WMD's
Bill likes Fishy cigars.
Is there any other stories that need to be rehashed?
I think we all know by now if the NCAA decides Cam was wrong, whether or not he is, he will be deamed inelligable. Until then the last thing we need is a reporter (who is also the lawyer mon) to try to make the case. Fucking let it reast already.

But since you have dragged this whole conversation into the dirt, I'll answer with another question for you. This is not for GD or RHV or Layla or UF04 or any of the others. It is a question for you. How much of the following is false? Cam Newton was a football player at Florida. Like so many well documented cases, both before and after his arrival, something in the environment in Gainesville corrupted the youngster. Urban Meyer was so busy humping Tim Tebow's leg that he didn't even take the time to develop Newton, so he got away. Newton went to Blinn Jr. College and became a model citizen. He led Blinn to a National Championship. Now he is at Auburn, still a model citizen, shattering records, and is the Heisman front-runner. He is so talented that he has led a team devoid of a pass defense to victories over opponents with names such as Mallett, Garcia, Jeffrey, Greene, Childs, Hartline, Randle, Toliver, and Cobb. He will lead Auburn, at a minimum, to the SEC Conference Championship Game. While Auburn is playing for the league title on December 4th, Urban Meyer and Florida will be contemplating the installation of a 4 QB system in an attempt to remain competetive in the Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Bowl, and it is eating you up from the inside. Until he gives us a reason to stop supporting him at Auburn, we will continue to defend him to the death. Somebody's got to. You and the rest of the world have already found him guilty of violating rules that don't even exist.

You and the rest of the world have already found him guilty of violating rules that don't even exist. Well, even though you are just deflecting the controversy from Newton, I will answer. To state that Meyer paid no attention to Newton is absurd. You know it, and I know it. As for Newton being a model citizen, hopefully for him, that is true, but I would keep a close eye on him. As for the "eating me up inside" part, that is just hogwash. I'm a realist. While I might aspire to win all the time, I don't expect it, and don't forget, I remember Gator football way before 1990. I, really, have no problem with Auburn, other than the fact that they are continuing to embrace this guy. Whatever it takes to win, right?

I really doubt that Cecil tried to get money without Cam knowing anything about it. I think that was just a PR tactic used by them. Cam has said the only reason he went to Auburn is his Dad thought it was the best place for him. I just can't for the life of me believe he was trying to get money from Miss St, without Cam knowing, then tell him to go to Auburn. It just doesn't make sense. Now maybe he got scared about them money and decided to back out of it. That could very well be possible but I would be surprised if Cam didn't have any clue about it.

Kind of ironic that about this time last year UF and Bama fans was slinging mud at each other. This year they are united to throw all the hate at Auburn.

You don't think its possible that during the trip to Starkville when Cam was hanging out with the team he dad was meeting with Rodgers and the MSU "recruiters" and trying to see what he could get out of it and when they reacted the way they did he backed off and decided to keep that from his son. Its just as feasible as any other senario out there.

My questioning is at the Newtons as lets be honest, they don't seem like the most honest bunch.

I don't know that for a fact but as a Auburn fan I have to continue to think that the people in charge down there know what they are doing and will come out of this without any damage done to the University or team.

I must say it is humorous to hear some of you folks. You start threads about Cam. You spend lots of time finding articles by authors who have OPINIONs on Cam.
Then you tap dance ala Fred Astaire that you really hope it isn't true. Stop with the BS folks. And it is BS. You want to see a school brought down. It is the SEC way. You aren't bullshitting anyone. Be man enough to admit it. Pathetic.
