3 teams in the Top 5? What do you think about that?
Their top 3 teams combined have faced fewer top 30 opponents than LSU and have the same number of wins combined as LSU does over Top 10 and Top 30 opponents.
I'm not ready to buy into the Big XII just yet.

Stick - it's CFB 07 - what a hoot. KN and HI in the MNC as the only undefeated D-1 schools and we all go crazy. But it could happen.

BTW - IF - and a big IF - if that basketball school ends up undefeated - do you have a problem with them playing for the MNC I don't.

I think that the Big 12 is pretty solid, now I am a Texas and watch about 90% of the regional games and follow the SEC about the same. I got to admit that our bottom tier teams are terrible and as a whole we are not as solid from top to bottom.

I seem to recall the Big East in Similar situation last year and we all know how that turned out. They will take care of each other. 3 of the top 5 is impressive nonetheless....to the below average fan that is.

Well atx we should know a little more once KU/Missou mix it up. When one of them plays OU we may know a bit more but that CU loss by OU is still out there and OU has not looked as dominant as of late.

There's only gonna be one of them in the Top 5 at season's end so who cares?
Loser of Kansas/Missouri drops out. Then when that team plays in the Big XII Championship, they'll win/lose against Oklahoma, which knocks the loser out of the Top 5 as well.

So "IF" Kansas wins out - you cool with KN playing for all the marbles - I am -

If they win out they will have beaten Oklahoma and Missouri... two quality Top 10 teams. I wouldn't have a problem with it. They won all their games, and beat quality opponents, and hung 76 points on a .500 team. Sure, why not?

I admit I would have thought OU wwould be in the top 5 at the end of the season when putting together a top ten at seasons start. But I would not have had KU or Mizzou anywhere near the top ten. KU is like the Rutgers of last year. Only there isnt as much of a question about the validity of the KU program. Nor the press covereage that RU had last year.
All in all I have to agree with GT about this. KU, Mizzou, and OU will take care of each other by seasons end.
