You're wrong. Its not a good read. It is an inspiring read. And there are guys like Tommy on most every team in the country. They are invaluable 5 days a week. We never hear about them. They bust their butt just like Rudy did. And Bill King is right...it is one of the things that makes me love this sport.

The desire to walk on at his dream school rather than accept a scholly from a lower division school reminds me a bit of Matt McGloin. McGloin was offered some IAA scholarship offers, but his dream was to play at PSU. He walked on and eventually earned a scholly and set a few QB records at PSU along the way.
