Paige Bueckers response to about how the moving screen affected their end of season is how everyone on this board who bemoans officials callls should approach the game. Essentially she said her play and the team’s play shouldn’t have let that final call affect the game. So fuck everyone here who complains about officials. 🙄😉😂 Spanky from the Little Rascals.

I didn't think I had a chance because I didn't realize the championship game had as many points attached to it as it did. Truth be told, I am rooting for Purdue because I live about 45 minutes from West Lafayette and have several friends that are alums. Would be fun to see them finally get 1.

I did not know a thing about this year's CBB season, who was good, wo was not, other than the obvious "rankings" indicating something. I was pulling for NC State last night even though I picked Purdue! Nonetheless, good luck, one way or another. Cheers!

Not always a fan of Dawn Staley. She is a great coach though. She had a most gracious post game comment about Caitlin Clark. Refreshing after all the bullshit on Social Media these days about various players from a whole host of dirtbags.

Refreshing after all the bullshit on Social Media these days about various players from a whole host of dirtbags. I got to know her a little bit when she was first out of UVA. There as was a league that started at the same time as WNBA called the ABL (lasted a year) and she played for the Richmond team. I worked their games and scrimmaged against her and the team with a group of hoops managers from UR. She was a feisty competitor with a chip on her shoulder but she ultimately was a fantastic person that really cared about others. I’ve always rooted for her. That said I was really rooting for Caitlin to crown her career with a title. She’s been an amazing ambassador for the game that has taken it to completely unimaginable heights. So Staley’s comments were very telling and classy.

I have worked with Dawn on three separate occasions, once when she was an Olympic player and a commercial for that team, and then more recently as the Coach of the USC Gamecocks. She couldn't be nicer to us a production crew, and very accommodating. Coach K was similar, and so was Coach Roy Williams, keeping it to a basketball theme.

Congratulations, ercok, as the Huskies were simply the better team. After watching this year's Tournament, it sure looked like UCONN was the better team as they can shoot 3s, distribute the ball, and very crisp with their plays/moevement, as opposed to Purdue which seemed to only have feed it to Edye in the middle and hope he makes the baskets, as they couldn't hit threes to save their lives!
You are the 2024 Bracketology Champ! "Cheers!", to you!!!

I read this morning that of the 22m entries into the ESPN March Madness contest, 18 entrants failed to pick one game correct (16 total) through day 1. That's hard to believe, even if I tried to do that on purpose. I was one of those - entered an bracket, but forgot to make the picks before the deadline. Call it sometimers - sometime I remember, sometimes I don't.

Women's Final clobbered the Men's Final in the TV ratings. Almost 19M watched South Carolina win and less than 15M watched the men's game. Probably a variety of reasons. Caitlin Clark was probably one of those. The men's game starting so late on the East Coast has to be one of the dumbest decisions ever made. And maybe this nonsense with Monday Night college championships will start being looked at. Some people have to go to work the next day. Others have to go to school.
