Man, I hate it when you show up at a place to put in an application and the damn GM isn't there...I really like to meet someone in person, generally my application (having held my last job for only 6 months) scares them away...

Yeah, but since your last job isn't in the same field I think there is a good amount of understanding. Especially when considering the current state of the economy.

As a college kid...it is tight as usual, but defenitely tighter than before. I don't spend money on things I don't really need...mostly because I don't have a lot of it.

My economy is still the same - I think I got a pay raise in Jan - not sure how much. I pay the bills and try very hard not to make new ones - so far so good. It all gets better in December when I pick up my guard retirement ;d
