Yeah Pirate, the interference call was the difference in the game. The final result had nothing to do with the fact that Oregon St couldn't run the ball. Nor could they pass the ball. The interference no call had everything to do with the Oregon St offense being completely shut down. That makes sense to me.

It changed the momentum of the game. It was a 10-3 ball game at teh time. OSU had completely shut down the Cincinatti offense until that point.
I'll give Cincinatti props though at least someone in the Big East has a defense.

Although I know that interference should have been called on the fair catch of the punt, and I know that it lead to 7 points for Cincy, Oregon St. had no momentum. There was no change in momentum. They received the opening kick-off of the 2nd half and went 3 and out. Cincy had the momentum to start the 2nd half. They were moving downfield when they self-destructed on offense leading to the punt. Oregon St could not do anything the entire night. There was no momentum shift. Oregon St simply was in a deeper hole than they were prior to that poor no-call.

I was interested in this game. BUt the Pac-10 is struggling, as I see it. So, the UL-MTS game was more exciting than that. I couldn't believe it!

Without seeing any other Big East team other than the Bearcats and Louisville I hereby anoint Cincinnati as the team to beat in the Big East. Their defense is OUTSTANDING!
They easily are the best college football team I have seen this year.

If so, that is the only game you must have seen this year to paint with that broad of a brush....Cincy - best football team in college football....just when I thought I heard it all. They aren't even close to being the best in the BE.

Not interfere with him so he can try and catch it.... lol...What interference? Geez, I hope you're kidding. That non-call was as bad or worse than the one with the Nebraska defensive lineman encroaching and the offensive lineman getting called for movement when he was pushed.

Ah Cincy did good and is much better than they get credit for. They were pretty good last year but played some tough games. I don't know that they can win the conference, but they are definitely a good enough team to win several games and get back to a bowl game.

I didn't think the interference was as blatant as everyone made it out to be, but even despite the non-call (which I think the officials did miss), I'm not sure that would've affected the whole 4 interception thing.. Temp or not.

I agree, the call had no impact on the game's outcome whatsoever. Oregon State was making some of the worst offensive play calls I've seen so far in this short season. On O they were completely outmatched as far as coaching was concerned.
