GBR - in pro ball they "MIGHT" have called that play dead before he got the pass off - "in the grasp" - pro QBs are allowed to wear skirts.

In pro football, if a QB is in the grasp the officials can blow the play dead to protect the quarterbacks.

GBR - in an effort to protect pro QBs from injury - there is a rule where they can call a play dead if the QB is in the grasp of a defensive player - even if the QB hasn't been tackled - your QB war wrapped up pretty good but still got the pass off -

It'll be interesting to see how NU opens up the second half. They really didn't look good in the first until right at the end.

Dang..we're having problems stopping that run play.. Better get that fixed before McKnight comes to town next week. He's looking very gifted out of taking advantage of every crack you give him.

I haven't seen McKnight play this year. Hopefully Kevin Cosgrove puts in some more speed it those kind of situations..

I have to say though..that wasn't a good decision at all by Hodges, was he just trying to get it to Moore any way possible?
Nice catch Nate Swift..

I'd rather give the D credit - but yes GBR - Hodges probably made a very bad decision - open and connect or throw it away and tie the damn game - not enough time left to force anything.
