Well it appears that Yanks are finally putting something together. I'm quite inmpressed with the 24 scoreless innings their staff has put together in that bandbox.

The Yankees are on a serious roll right now. They are going to be tough to stop if they are hitting like that and they pitch anywhere near that well.
The parts of the lineup where Swisher and co. are hitting like that make the lineup near impossible to hold down for a long period of time.
The Yankees have to hope that they keep playing this well into the postseason (the AL East appears to be almost locked up though).

I'm still a little concerned with how they have played against the White Sox & Angels this year but there is still a long way to go... good pitching, good hitting and good defense...solid team but I'm not counting on anything right now. Still, winning 13 out of 14 at home is very nice and a 4 game sweep of the Red Sox...priceless.

Yawn. I will say that this sweep of the Red Sox is very similar to the Cubs sweep of the Brewers last year in the heat of a division race.

Yankees get two td's and miss an extra point - sox kick field goal and make good on last minute two point conversion - blow the onside kick attempt. ;d ;d ;d
