I made the mistake of going to the grocery store today, and was accosted by crack pushing Girl Scouts both on the way in to and on the way out of the store. Luckily, at much great peril to me, I was able to resist the temptation to buy Thin Mints.

If you just tell the scout leader you are a sexual offender they won't bother you.

It is more convincing if you tell the scout leader you'll buy the cookies but she has to get the money out of your pockets for you then grin at her. ;D

I'm on m y second box of Thin Mints.... damn those crackwhore Girl Scouts and knowing my weakness. "Hey NCBD, here you go. Just try one of these 'Wafer-thin mints', don't worry you won't get hooked....." My ass, and they are still around hocking away and nobody is even trying to stop them. I even have seen policemen buying from them. They must get paid off to look the other way. Sneaky little girls.
Dammit, I am down to only one sleeve... better pace myself or I won't last the week! Yikes!!!!

Luckily, at much great peril to me, I was able to resist the temptation to buy Thin Mints. They "jumped" me at St. Patrick's when I was picking up fish dinners this past Friday. Sneaky bitches. But I was strong and only bought two boxes.

WOW cookies, I was thinking something else. I got kicked out of Cub Scouts for eating Brownies. You didn't get kicked out, you graduated to Boy Scouts. BTW guys, you think you have it bad...I've got two daughters in Girl Scouts. I think I got two cases of the thin mints. Bad news is...they'll be gone next week.

Sure, did you see the one above.
Environmental Engineering with an emphisis on Desert Watershed Management. School actually is not that bad (although I really am just starting so I'm taking pretty basic stuff right now) and it looks like worst case scenario I end the quarter with a 3.75 I am pretty much guaranteed an A in Math and Chem at this point. The problem I was having earlier is that I hit a section in Chem that I just wasn't getting and I'm sure being sick didn't help. Points out the major drawback in distance learning-if you don't get something you're pretty much screwed. Thankfully my father is a freaking genius at this stuff and is pretty good at explaining it in a simple fashion.

I hear you there, dpb. I love science and math.... excelled in Physics but hated Chemistry, oh well, I can relate and do wish you good luck in your studies. Keep on it and smile, all you can do is your best. Take care.
