Favorite school growing up vs. alma mater. All PAC final, aye. Both have very nice pitching. In Omaha, ya never know.

LSU is playing very well right now and have strength in every aspect of the game. Starting pitching, relief pitching, good hitting up and down the lineup, good subs, and a good defense.
If Nola is on his game, the Tigers should win over UCLA, but that is why they play the game. On paper looks good, but a team still has to perform on the field.
Geaux Tigers.

I have LSU and the 'ville in the final and LSU winning it all. This LSU team doesn't really have any weaknesses. If they are on their game, they will be nearly unbeatable.

Tough loss for the Beavs. Up 4-3 in the 8th only to lose 5-4 with the final out a couple of feet shy of a 3 run homer.

Now lets see what L-Ville can do tonight. Shit the bed. That's what they did. You may have called it correctly Jim. MSU and LSU could be the final. Let's see how the Tigers look today.

Ind pitching held them to four hits - helluva performance. Lets see what today brings. I know coming out of the losers bracket to win it all ain't easy.

So far, the favorites are not doing so well. I hope that changes today - especially for my beloved Tigers.
Everyone have a great day.

NcSt wins - don't think being a high seed is a great thing in this tourney.

Two errors by an LSU defense that is usually perfect. Cost them the game. Good luck against NC State dpd.

Only three seeded teams made it to Omaha and they have all lost their first game. So much for the seeds this year. A tough row to make it back through the losers bracket. They would have to win four in a row to make the finals and then have to win two more games. That takes a very deep pitching staff to do it.
But that is why they play the game.

Was hoping I'd get the chance to make the trip to Omaha this year...well..hopefully one of these years. I've been looking at my schedule and am thinking about it. I wouldn't be able to go until the finals and even then I'd only be able to catch one game.

In part due to an L'ville error the Beavs score 3 in the 3rd. Up 3-0 with L'ville batting in the Top of the 4th

Ground ball to short should have ended the inning, instead is thrown away. 7-0 now, Beavs still batting in the 4th

Wheels completely off now. Hit batsmen, walk in a run, 2 run single. 10-0 and they're still batting.
