Alex Box should be hopping tomorrow as the Ragun Cajuns play the Tigers. Boy you know there will be some tailgating with plenty of great food being dished up. And plenty of liquid to go around. Alex Box will be a mini Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.
Tigers love their baseball.
Arkansas, Florida and Vandy are also hosting super regional's.
Geaux Tigers.

I am wrong - Vandy is not hosting - at Illinois.

I am wrong - Vandy is not hosting - at Illinois. This Illini team is the best in the school's history. Rooting for them as they are a local story in many ways. Former major leaguer Darrin Fletcher has a kid on the team doing some cool things. His name is Casey. I got to broadcast some of his summer league games and some of his high school basketball games.

Wow, LSU and ULL had a dandy last night. Tigers scored some early runs and lead 3 to 0. But ULL chipped away and with a homer in the top of the ninth tied the game at 3. But LSU had a homer in the bottom for a walk off win.

So glad Cal State Fullerton won that series.
Now aTm trying to come from 2 down in the top of the 9th. Bases loaded, no outs. SEC trying to send 5 teams to Omaha.

But you are right, time will tell.
First game is very important in the CWS. Deep staffs are great, but very difficult to come back after losing the first game. But the games are spaced out so that helps teams with their pitching.
Vandy is going to be tough. TCU has good pitching. Miami must have something and Virginia is on a roll. Throw in Cal State and Arkansas and it shapes to be a great CWS.

We kicked your ass in our only matchup of the year. Accept it. We will do so again if necessary. Worry about getting out your bracket first old fart. Well, in their opener, the Gators blew out Miami, 15-3. Right now, after 4 innings, LSU is losing to TCU, 2-1. You better start worrying, yourself.
