Bayern holding their own so far at halftime. No score in Barcelona. Could be up 1-0, Lewandowski missed a golden opportunity.

True, but Neuer made two remarkable saves on the Cannibal and Messi.

Funny because reports out of the German Cup playoffs last weekend indicated that not only was Robben out but also Lewandowski.

And again he scores, just making Bayern defense look bad.

I think it was inevitable that Bayern would break. They desperately need a goal.

And now Neymar scores, probably too much for Munich now.

No probably about it. They needed an away goal. It is highly unlikely that Bayern could shut them out in Munich next week, which means a minimum of 5 goals against Barca. I would say that they have a 1% chance. It will be Barca and Real in the final.

You guys would probably need your full team to play also gonna need Ribery and Robben to even have a shot.

As far as I know, Robben is done. Don't know status on Ribery.

With 2 goals in the 1st half Barca isn't giving them any shot.

Bayern really had no shot anyway. They weren't going to shut out Barca with all those stars they have and Bayern's best offensive threats are hurt. They can only hope to make this game respectable. Tied at 2 with abut 25 minutes left.

Disagree, thought you guys had a shot when you went up 1-0, but giving that goal up right away is killer. Hopefully, tomorrow's game is as exciting as today.

Away goals. Bayern would have had to have a shutout to have any shot. The failure to net one in Barca last week was crucial. The odds on shutting out this incredibly talented Barca team were less than slim. Throw in that your two most important offensive weapons were not playing and there was almost no chance at all. Barca knew that they needed but one goal. When that happened, Bayern needed to score 5 times and without Robben and Ribery, that wasn't about to happen. For me, this was locked when Bayern could not score that critical away goal last Wednesday. Had they managed to score a single goal then, then they would have had a legitimate shot. They didn't and thus they didn't have a realistic shot.

I don't disagree with you at all, even with the early goal the chances of Bayern advancing were less then 5%. Will be interesting to see what Bayern does with Guardiola after this season.

I bet he will be gone. They don't keep guys that long. Never satisfied with anything. Remind me of the George Steinbrenner days with the Yankees. It is always a soap opera with this team....the non Bayern fans in Germany refer to them as F.C. Hollywood. Actually, 1860 Munich is the old traditional club that most people in Munich itself used to pull for. But since the mid sixties they have been a train wreck. They are currently in the second division but headed for the 3d in another couple of weeks.

Yeah, Juventus was pretty much outclasses in the 1st half. Their 2nd half performance was prototypical Italian Soccer and they were able to turn the game around.
