Braves leapfrog Mets into first place in NL East. Won't stay there, but nice to be competitive again.

Some of that young talent seems to be ahead of schedule. Kinda like the 2015 Cubs. The Braves definitely have a shot to do just what the Cubs did a few years back.

Hey, Tim Tebow is one of my favorite players ever. And once they shuck that uniform, they return to humanity.

Braves pick up Jose Bautista and first at bat doubles. No damage, but Freddie Freeman's homer puts Bravos 2-0.

They have some seriously good young talent. I doubt they try and make any moves to contend this year because they need to let their kids just grow up a bit but could see them making some moves in the offseason to go after next season and the season after.
Have to go after it when the kids are in the window of team friendly control and go all in to fill any gaps. Windows close quickly so I don’t think you sacrifice any of your prospects to get someone for this year. But you might do that for next year and definitely the year after that.
Impressive young team. Seem pretty fun to watch also which is always good.
