I think it is the only preseason poll out. I couldn't find any other one. There should be some other ones before long. Usually they are all over the place.
College baseball polls are all over the place during the season. Much more so than the football polls.

I am heading over to Baton Rouge in early may to watch a couple of games. The only tickets one can get through the box office is bleacher seats. LSU sells out almost all of the tickets before the season begins. Then the season ticket holders sell them through some ticketing company. And they are not cheap.
LSu's baseball revenue is probably greater than most FCS schools. They play about 40 home games a year. Then almost every year they get a regional host and a lot of the time super regionals.
Every game is basically a sell out, but actual attendance may be about 4,000 to 5,000 for a mid week game, but most of the weekend crowds are pretty full.
Alex Box Stadium seats about 10,500. I would estimate they make close to 20 million a year in ticket sales.
And LSU has lead the nation in baseball attendence for at least the last 20 years.
Tiger country is full of college baseball fans - they love their purple and gold baseball teams.
Next Friday LSU plays Louisiana Monroe and then the weekend games are the armed forces weekend as the Tigers host Air Force and Army. The Air Force game will probably get a fly over before the game. They did that a few years ago.

New at Alex Box this season:
And here’s another noteworthy announcement: “The Yard” opens Friday at Alex Box Stadium. Here’s a press release by LSU to tell you what’s it all about:
All LSU baseball fans over the age of 21 will have access to two new areas at Alex Box Stadium featuring beer and wine sales. Named “The Yard,” the new tented areas will be located at the left and right outfield corners.
The Yard at Alex Box Stadium will operate in much the same way as The Chute at Tiger Stadium. Fans ages 21 and over can purchase a wristband at either location or near the grandstand entrance gates. The wristband is $20 and includes two beverages.
Additional beverages can be purchased inside the premium area starting at $6. Fans who purchase a wristband will have access to both locations of The Yard, which will have television monitors to watch the action.
Due to Southeastern Conference regulations, all sales must be consumed in the tented area.
The left and right field locations will open two hours before first pitch. Beer and wine sales will end at the close of the 7th inning.

Gators beat Long Beach 8-2, but they made a couple of errors also. This Gator team is young, with 15 new players. It will be interesting to watch them mature over the season.

LSU is playing Army this afternoon. Landon Marceaux is throwing for the Tigers. He is hot prospect for the Tigers. He only walked 5 batters his senior year in high school and one was intentional.
He looks sharp so far this afternoon. No walks. LSU is up 2-0 after 2 innings.

Army outplayed LSU for 8 innings, but the first two batters walked in the 9th and then freshman Cade Beloso hit the first pitch for a three run dinger and the Tiger win 6 to 5.
Army starting pitcher D. Burggraaf pitched a strong 6.1 innings allowing only 4 hits and three runs. Two of the runs were unearned.
Landon Marceaux also pitched a strong 5.1 innings for the Tigers allowing only two hits a one run. He is a true freshman.
Good win for the Tigers.
