After watching Florida give Alabama all it wanted in the 31-29 loss to the Tide, CBS college football announcer Brad Nessler told Greg McElroy and Cole Cubelic on their morning show “McElroy and Cubelic In the Morning” on WJOX radio out of Birmingham, Alabama that he’s not sold on Georgia winning the East.
Nessler said he was impressed with the Bulldogs defense, however, he is not ready to crown them champs just yet.
“I’m not sure about Georgia yet. I’m still in a wait-and-see deal,” he said. Nessler also isn’t sold on the Bulldogs running game. “They don’t have a dominant guy there I don’t think. I think their receivers are still learning. I think their defense is as good as anybody’s in the country, maybe better than all of them, I don’t know. To answer your question, Florida impressed me. I thought it was just going to be hands down all right, Georgia’s going to win the East. Last year I thought Florida would win the East and they did. … I’m more impressed with Florida. I think Florida can hang with Georgia and be a threat. More than I did when I was heading to Gainesville last week.”
Nessler isn’t exactly impressed with quarterback JT Daniels either. Even though Daniels came in at the end of last season and won all of the games he started, Nessler said, “Who did he beat?”
Georgia and Florida will meet Oct. 30.

I don't necessarily disagree with Brad Nessler. To me, he is the best CFB broadcaster around. I too wonder about Georgia's running game. I also have to say that Florida appears to be considerably better than what was expected. I am not so sure about J.T. though. Daniels is not mobile, but he seems to possess a high football IQ and a pretty strong and accurate arm. And he did beat Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl last year. All in all, it is early yet. It appears that Georgia will be tested by Arkansas and Auburn before the WLOCP. The Gators have to go to Kentucky and LSU. All in all, I have some of the same concerns that Nessler has.

So, who is he “sold” on again? It is Florida for the Championship now? Is that where we are?

running game has definitely been slow, they opened up a TINY bit against SC, hopefully they just get better and better as the season progresses. I am actually glad georgia doesnt look PEAK just yet, every game they should get better and better. I didnt watch any of the UF/BAMA game so i dont know what happened. Looked like bama would run away early and then it was a nail biter. We just need to win in Jax and then go back and look at what UF did against bama to disrupt them, Florida has played bama closer the last 2 games against them more than anyone in the country.

Honestly, I don’t know why we even need to play any more games this season.
It’s been decided.
The Dawgs just need to be given the SECe championship.
Shame on anyone that doubts it, either verbally, or if they even think it.

Seriously though, UF will be tested this weekend against UTk, and could lose. UTk will move the ball on them with their quick paced offense.
The Gators can either have a let down because of the loss, or get the big head because they didn’t lose as bad to Bama as some thought they would.

We may do a little for a bit but the talent is deficient. No depth at any position. The players are motivated, just not enough of them.

Mhhh...3 weeks in it's ok to be skeptical of everyone. I haven't seen a dominant team yet that couldn't have an off week and lose.
