This game scares me, after watching TN play KY, I know KY is not the dawgs d, but damn this offense is really clicking. Neyland will be loud as hell. I see them putting up 28 against the dawgs, maybe I am crazy. Still think the dawgs pull it out. I really thought about going to this game, but call me superstitious, last time I went there Chubb went down and the dawgs lost.
Georgia vs Tennessee Game Preview Why Georgia Will Win The defense really is just that amazing.
No, it’s not technically the No. 1 D in college football – Wisconsin holds that distinction – but this thing really is special.
No one has scored more than 13 points on the Dawgs, the pass defense isn’t allowing a thing, and the defensive line is playing like it was rudely insulted.
It’s not just that the defense holds up against everyone and takes over games. It’s amazing at stuffing teams that get into the red zone, it forces everyone to press, and it takes all the pressure off the offensive side.
As amazing as the Tennessee offense has been, the defense can’t get off the field. Teams are converting close to half of their third down tries against the Vols – the Georgia formula will work just fine.
Don’t take chances, run the ball, rely on the defensive front to take over, and control the clock for close to 40 minutes. However …
– College Football Expert Picks, CFN Week 11
Why Tennessee Will Win Yeah, the Georgia defense is amazing. It hasn’t faced anything like this, though.
Auburn is playing well, but it doesn’t have the high-powered passing game that Tennessee brings. Who else on the schedule can do much on O?
Florida? Sort of, but not really. Kentucky? Arkansas? Yeah, but in a different way. Clemson? Vanderbilt? Not to offense-shame the rest of the SEC, but the Tennessee tempo, speed, and balance should be enough to make the Dawg D work a bit.
Talent-wise, DJ Uiagalelei is the best quarterback Georgia has faced – even if he’s not playing like it yet – but Hendon Hooker might be the most effective passer and playmaker on the Dawg slate. At the very least, this offense at home should be able to take Georgia O out of its comfort zone.
Tennessee will score more than 13 points, but …
What’s Going To Happen Tennessee will NEVER have the ball.
It’s dead last in college football in time of possession – that’s sort of by design with the way the O plays – but that’s going to be a big, big problem.
Georgia’s defense will look mortal for a few drives, but the offensive side will overcome a tight first half to rumble for big rushing yards as the second half rolls on.
It’s not exactly going to be a scare, but it’ll be the first time when someone does something against this D.

Maybe we should go Kev! Georgia's talent on defense is incredible. The running game is very good too. I hope they try to pass towards Alonte Taylor (aka Cookie Monster) so we can get more free cookies.
Tennessee is healthier than they have been all year and certainly clicking on all cylinders offensively. The teams that have given them trouble all had QBs that run.
Hopefully it is a good game, Georgia has a lot of depth and I think that might be the difference. Without a few big mistakes by Georgia, Tennessee will not win.
Go Vols!

I would love to go again, but I hit 2 deer last week. Hopefully State Farm will have my claim settled by Friday. I already bought the hood, bumper assy, radiator, and condensor. If they do I will be busy this weekend fixing that. The one deer I hit by running over her hind legs, the other hit dead center at 70 mph. She shot down the road like one of those shuffleboard pieces. lol

Honestly, this game makes me nervous. I think it's our toughest game since opening with Clemson. Tennessee can and will score a ton of points in a few minutes if UGA's defense is a little lacking in focus.

Georgia is running 2 scout teams offenses against the defense to simulate the speed of Tennessee

But Kirby has also said it is near impossible to simulate what the Vols do with their hyper speed attack. Clearly this is the best offense Georgia has faced and the Neyland crowd will be cranked up. I too am uneasy. Saving grace is that for the first time I can ever remember, they have been ready to play each week, regardless of how much they have been favored. Slow start against Florida and Kentucky but both comfortable wins.

Truth be known, Georgia needs to get into a dog fight to see how they would react. We are not going to get it with that weak ass 2 game end of season schedule.

Tennessee can and will score a ton of points in a few minutes if UGA's defense is a little lacking in focus. Tennessee isn't a complete team yet. They can score quickly due to the tempo and spacing of the offense. Georgia has a lot of talent that can match up in a one on one situation provided they are in position quick enough. I am hoping for a good game...and of course a Vols victory, but Georgia is pretty darn good.

UGA WR Arian Smith out for the rest of the season, as per UGA Rivals, with a broken leg. This was UGA's track star(literally) WR who just got back in action as he was out with an injury, and as Lady Luck would have it, chose him once again.
He had like 5 catches for 190'ish yards with 3 TDs, or something like that, in his career. I feel sorry for the young man, as he sure had speed, skill and desire, just not sure his body is built for football. Wishing him the best. GATA, Arian!

Well, Tennessee against their four biggest foes this year arevaverage giving up 41'ish points, and over 500 yards/game, so there is that going for them.
Now, can they outscore their opponents?
The D Georgia is trotting out there, the table is set and we shall see. Saturday will lets know where Tennessee is against a team playing consistently in all three phases of the game. Go Dawgs!

Could it be that it had not completely healed? Speculation at this point. So just as we start getting back some of the receivers, one of the fastest people in all of CFB is out again.

Sorry, not feeling sorry for you guys.
LSU is entering the Arkansas game with 55 players (excluding kickers). They have 17 on the injured/out list.
