Well, remain very surprised that Texas did not object to the UGA game being on the 19th of October. With 300K or so there for the US Grand Prix (F1) and another 100K for the Texas-Georgia game. They have not held the two events simultaneously in Austin the same weekend since 2017.
Not an easy schedule for a team losing almost all of the offense. 12 team playoff no guarantee next year.

Georgia OOC is too damn easy. We play two teams from a conference that couldn't even get their undefeated champs into the playoff. Good grief Charlie Brown.

Florida has FSU, Miami, and UCF. That is impressive. Tennessee's is garbage.

Didn't Auburn cry and moan about facing Bama and UGA b2b so much that schedules got changes to accommodate them? I guess playing Bama and Auburn b2b is ok though...

South Carolina's 2024 schedule. And that is even with leaving off traditional rival Georgia. Who in the hell did Shane Beemer piss off? This is normal. With Clemson and UGA guaranteed every year, USC’s schedules in the past were usually among the toughest in the country.

ESPN has learned that SEC Schedule for next year is going to be released soon. They are reporting that Georgia will be playing Alabama on Sept 28 at Bryant Denny and Texas on Oct 19 at Darrel Royal Memorial. Georgia opens with Clemson in Atlanta on Aug 31, Tennessee Tech on Sep 7, Florida in Jacksonville on Oct 26, UMass in Athens Nov 23 and Georgia Tech in Athens Nov 30. The Dawgs will host Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State on dates TBD and play at Ole Miss and Kentucky, also on dates TBD. 6 home 4 away 2 neutral Is Atlanta *really* neutral?

Is Atlanta *really* neutral? Against Clemson, absolutely. Can probably get to the Benz just a quickly from Clemson on 85 as you can from Athens. Against, Oregon, nah not very neutral. For sure neutral for Clemson or Auburn.

Post See new posts Conversation Radi Nabulsi @radinabulsi Seems ok to miss being in this game. Just be the No. 3 or maybe No. 4 SEC team. You'll make the playoffs. Then host a playoff game at home. Avoid this brutal game and then face the No. 11 or No. 12 team. Same number of games with an easier opponent? Home gate $ too?

Not B2B, that had been happening for years. It changed from one home and one away to both home or both away, remember UGA fans were upset they had to go to Auburn in back to back years. That’s what Auburn didn’t like. Made a great November home schedule every other year, but a shitty one away years.

Schedule got changed to accomodate Mizzou and A&M. SEC had option of moving 6 cross conference games or one. I think UGA traditionalists were more upset about moving game to mid year. And now, because mid and lower tier programs are afraid of the 9 game conference schedule, am afraid the Deep South's oldest rivalry will cease being an annual matchup.

The A&M - LSU had been played the week of Thanksgiving, which was good for my family as my oldest son (Aggie) would come in from San Diego and we would go to the Aggie - LSU game. One year in College Station and the next year in Baton Rouge. We didn't go this year and it seems we will not get the chance again. LSU is playing Oklahoma next year during Thanksgiving week.
My suggestion for the SEC is to divide it into two divisions as it is now. Seven games in each division and two from the other division for a 9 game schedule. These massive size conferences make for a nightmare in scheduling, IMO.
