Mich clearly should have run the ball more consistently tonight.

And for the first time in a while, a good semifinal. Here’s to hoping for a second.
Gotta hand it to Mich, they withstood some real shots in the second half and still found a way to get it done.
Thought Saban had made enough adjustments to pull it all out, but Mich turned it up a notch there at the end.

I don’t understand, 2 time outs in a row and that’s the best play you can come up with?

But I used it once last night, and once today, and feel it was perfect!

Can't say I'm disappointed that Alabama lost, just wish Michigan could have too. Michigan played much better overall. Feels weird to say but Alabama was lucky it was as close as it was and Michigan is lucky they made it to overtime.

A win by Bama and a win by Texas guarantees that a team from the SEC will be defending National Champions next season. And now a win by Washington guarantees that a team from the Big 10 will be the defending National Champions next season!

I really didn't care. Michigan winning does not appeal to me and I don't have anything against Bama, except, I kind of enjoyed Jermaine Burton not getting a ring. Petty of me, I know.

IMO, Mich special teams (or lack thereof) gave the appearance that game was closer than it was.

IMO, Mich special teams (or lack thereof) gave the appearance that game was closer than it was. It could have been much worse. Michigan plays 100% fundamental defense, and we're smart enough to craft a defensive plan that showed no respect for the passing abilities of the future Heisman winner.

What am I missing on theswan's comments toward Milroe as being, "the future Heisman Winner", in a few posts now? Is this sarcasm? Is this real? Frustration? Just words?

I think his 116 yards passing and the loss to Michigan has the Gumps reeling. I guess the Bama Center is a future Outland Trophy winner as well, just a guess here. Fla State's QB who is NOT a future Heisman winner, had 142 yards passing...jes' sayin'. For those on the CFP committee who were so concerned about FSU Offense, the Gumps put up a total of 79 yards more offense than FSU and the Gumps fielding their entire group.

His 116 passing yards has no one reeling. He also had 63 yards on 21 carries! He can do it all. The center has had issues with snaps. Never in 35 years of watching football have I ever seen such miscommunication between the center and QB. Maybe it's all on Mclaughlin. This team could have easily gone 8-4 or 9-3 this year. 12-2 with an SEC Championship makes it a great year. Plus, we have the top Heisman candidate in the nation for next year!!! Personally, I wouldn't blame him if he went pro now. I would REALLY love to watch him playing on Sunday's next year, now that I think about it. He's a game changer!

He will he one of the top Heisman candidates next year. ESPN's preseason piece on Bama next year should be solely focused on his talents.
