Walt Aldrich, father of Kansas sophomore basketball star Cole Aldrich of Bloomington, said his son probably will return for his junior year rather than opt for June's NBA draft. "So he can get bigger and stronger," he said.

Great news for Jayhawk fans! They have a nice team returning even with Collins possibly leaving. Not to mention, they may get Xavier Henry now.

I never thought he would leave.............now Sherron is gone IMO. Sherron has said point blank that he is going to do what Bill Self tells him to. He has said that he has a tremendous amount of trust in Self and his opinion. With the projections I've seen, I see both of them coming back (which I wouldn't have imagined at all a month ago). The only problem now is, we may not enough scholarships to get everyone in, not too bad a problem to have IMO.

Kansas has offered all their available scholarships, so unless someone leaves, there may not be room for XH. I just don't see Bill Self rescinding offers made in good faith. I wouldn't say that about some coaches. For instance, it might happen at UK, just not at KU. For sure, everything is fluid through June 15, so we'll have to wait and see. I'm not agreeing with the idea Sherron would be easy to replace -- remember UNC trying to fill in for Lawson at midseason? There is back court talent, but none with a full year and significant parts of two others under fire.
