I do think that it is a step in the right direction.
As some might know I have thought that is a good idea for quite a while.

Yeah, baseball is not quick to change most of the time.
They had to look at the type of people that were staying up to watch the whole games, and the ones outside of the fans of the teams in the World Series they had to see that it was not a young demographic and that is not good for the future business of baseball.
What is really sad is that MLB has mishandled many issues, and baseball on all levels has suffered because of it...

I guess my problem is listening to my grandpa and dad talk about baseball when they were younger. I always heard about the great players and the feats that they accomplished.
The stories of players leaving their gloves on the field, day games, and listening to games on the radio.
Other than the stories I watched 'Baseball' by Ken Burns, and sometimes watch 'The Golden Age of Baseball' on Fox.
Can't help but long for those times, and look at some of the things that happen now in the MLB and can't help by shake my head.

Earlier start times...that's good.
Now they should make weekend games day games, or at least start them very early in the evening.
