Even that foul ball was 'loud'.

He's had pretty solid stuff but he was never a pitcher tonight.....more of a thrower.
I expect Keyes to take a curtain call for scoring on a wild pitch.

He was a thrower tonight, and didn't think and use his slider enough tonight. He got burnt on his fastball AKA not his best pitch. That slider to strike that kid out to end the 6th was a great pitch. 5-3 Horns.

I dont think that ball hit him. Wild pitch IMO. I don't think it hit him either. The change of direction was from hitting the catchers glove IMO. Just an overthrow by Coleman.

I can't speak to your fans, except for guys like you and GT, which are great. However, everything I've seen from your coach and players in Omaha has exuded total class.

Boy, the ball is just jumping out of the park.
Thats typically a line drive out which goes dead center.

Overall though, UT pitching has simply shut us down tonight.
We are actually lucky to be down only 1 run.

Overall though, UT pitching has simply shut us down tonight. We are actually lucky to be down only 1 run. Agreed. Also agree on the point about the park. Playing like Great American Ballpark tonight. Any ball hit with the bigger part of the bat and goes into the air is headed into the cheap seats.

I agree with GT on both points. That ball is jumping tonight and LSU's hitters have quietly put up the runs tonight.

Another flyball that got out of the ballpark.
Should have tried to keep the ball on the ground today wit the way the ball is flying.

Chad Jones to come in to pitch (he is also the SS for the Bayou Bengals on the gridiron).
Interesting.

Boy Jones kept the ball down, and you had a feeling that he would beat the runner to the bag (and maybe tackle him)

Nice job by Jones in relief there to stop the bleeding. Coleman just seemed to be a little off tonight. When I watched him pitch before he was down more (and getting the calls there) and the movement down made the other teams pound the ball into the ground. Not so tonight, and it cost him in a park that is surrendering a lot of HRs.

BTB, not a very good strike zone tonight....actually horrible zone. Agreed. Not enough leeway on the bottom of the zone, especially with the conditions tonight. Just too tough to pitch to that higher zone in that stadium right now, with aluminum bats. It is like an HR derby with the zone like that.
