Well before 2004 I always cheered for the Red Sox in this series. But since the Damn Sox beat my Cardinals in the WS, I now hope those bastards lose every game.
I have seen the light GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This confuses me slightly... Why call the NL the red-headed stepchild? The AL is the junior circuit, and they don't even play the real way baseball is meant to be played ( I personally hate the DH rule). I like to watch the Yankees and the Red Sox play, but the hype that ESPN creates makes me tired of the rivalry. The Red Sox-Yankees rivalry is great, but completely over-covered. The Cardinals-Cubs doesn't get nearly the respect that it deserves on a national stage IMO.

I appreciate what the NL does and that pitchers swing the bat, but the AL is what I grew up on, so that's how I role!!!

Enjoy the game as well (probably will be tough with the Sox destined to run the table on the Yanks this year )... and don't worry, I'm off the sauce for a week after my bachelor party... gotta clean the system out!!!

This stadium is ridiculous... two of three HRs to this point, shouldn't have been close. From you Yanks fans, what are your thoughts on the stadium... I guess it evens itself out, or maybe helps you guys as you hit a bunch of HRs and it can only add to those numbers.

Not all of us can grow up cheering for a succesful team. Chase Daniel should've won the Heisman last season!

Anyhow, great game for us Yankee fans...tomorrow is another day but at least my boys ended the streak.

I guess it evens itself out, or maybe helps you guys as you hit a bunch of HRs and it can only add to those numbers. You again? I like the New Stadium. It's beautiful and is a great place to see a game...I miss the history of the Old Stadium but that place was getting tired... The HR thing...the ball really carries in Right Center Field much more than anyone expected. I think it's because the new stadium is so wide open...They will need to make some adjustments like raise the fence in RF or move fences back. IMHO, no-one could have predicted it.

It is almost better if they would not have made the playoffs. I think they made the playoffs 27 straight years and they never won one Stanley Cup. P.S. Once again you are from Wisconsin so you can't hate hockey.

Between 82- Present day they've made the playoffs 22 times, and actually it was 25 times in a row according to their wikipedia page, and again I don't live in upstate Wisconsin which is essentially Canada, so I don't havta like hockey.(Keep our discussion quiet about hockey )

Actually ChaseDanielshould'vewontheHeisman,
Being from Wisconsin means that I havta care a little bit about College Hockey, which I do, doesn't mean I have to like the NHL. If the state had a hockey team(Makes no sense why they don't, the freaks in this state love the sport) I'd probably care about it like I care about the Bucks. Watch 5-10 full games a season, watch parts of 30-40 other games, and watch every game that they are in the playoffs.
And the only Wisconsin Badger hockey games I watch are the NCAA Tournament, other then that I follow the team from a distance, and don't really care that much. I do have a Wisconsin Hockey jersey though.

I wish I could say the same thing about Mizzou (The NC thing)
