Yep, Cornell is in.........and playing there way OUT of the dance are tOSU, Florida, and Syracuse.
The Bucks are awful right now, Florida has been mediocre with a very weak schedule, and the Cuse choked it away yesterday against Pitt.
After a terrible start, Kentucky may be playing themselves into a berth.

A Kentucky win today would have solidified it for them. Now they'll probably need to sweep USCe and Florida and win at least one in the SEC Tournament to be sure.

BTW, did you see Michigan State lay it on Indiana today? Wow. 103-74. They had 59 points at the half. That MSU team looks much better when they run. The PG (Lucas I think) is very quick. If they run like that in the tourny, instead of playing slower and defensive, they could make some noise.

Also, watch out for Louisville in the tourny. They are putting it together at the right time.

Also, watch out for Louisville in the tourny. They are putting it together at the right time. They've won 8 straight and are beating Nova right now. Included in that run are wins over Marquette, G'town, Pitt and ND. Not bad at all.

Agreed Thunder........looks like both Ohio State and Florida will be battling it out to see who can claim the "65th best team in the country" title

Crazy thing is, they win their next 2 (Tenn, @kentucky) they are probably in.

You're probably right about that, dpb. But they are more likely to lose those two. Florida's OOC schedule was very weak. I think Ohio State was one of the toughest games they had, which says a lot, and they lost by double digits.
The Buckeyes still have Purdue and Michigan State. So if they win those two, and win a conf tourny game, they could be in as well. Ain't gonna happen though

Yes, their OOC schedule was pitiful, but....wait for it....what else would you expect from an SEC team? ;D

Crazy thing is, they win their next 2 (Tenn, @kentucky) they are probably in. Maybe, but I still don;t think they should be.... Dpb, this team had their opportunity to make a statement this season and they were nowhere near good enough to get it done. After the Vandy win, UF was 18-3 and ranked with the meat of their schedule coming up. They were horrible during that stretch, going 3-5, and suffering bad losses to Tennesee, Arkansas, LSU, and Mississippi St. Shitty UGa and South Carolina teams were the only reason they're not on a hell of a losing streak.... To put it another way, the SEC is not a good basketball coference this season, and has only two teams currently ranked. UF is barely above .500 in SEC play....

Oh I completely agree Thunder, but I will be shocked if the SEC is only a 3 bid league (Tenn, Vandy and Miss. State). That leaves Florida, Kentucky and Arkansas (Miss has the same record as Ark but is disqualified by virtue of being 5-9 IC) vying for the 4th spot. Kentucky has the best IC record, but the worst overall record of the 3. None of the 3 did anything OOC to speak of, so the next 2 games and the tournament should be the determining factor. Florida, as posted earlier, has Tenn and @kentucky. Kentucky has @sce and Florida, Arkansas has @miss and Auburn. Of the 3 Florida makes the biggest statement with 2 wins.

The SEC is really bad this year. I still think the league gets 5 bids going to Tennessee, Vandy, Miss St., Arkansas, and Kentucky sneaks in with their name.
If you look around the NCAA, the SEC, Big 10, and the ACC only look to receive 5 bids each; we may see more mid-majors than usual this year to make up the difference.
