Down goes #1. #12, 13 and 22 have already lost. #18 is down by 18 in the 4th. #11 is in a battle in the 4th. #9 is trying to hold on for the win.....and 7 top 25 teams kickoff later. The insanity continues.

Parity? Proof of the need for playoffs, and one less way that Oregon can get screwed.....oh....and more of those "ifs" falling into place for Kansas.

I think is clear evidence the SEC is the greatest conference of all-time.

I guess you will be all good when/IF KU jumps UO for the NC. Not at all. I've told you repeatedly-I don't think Kansas should make the NC, just that they can. Actually I am really hoping they stay undefeated and don't go anyway. The uproar from the Big 12 may be enough to start a real discussion about playoffs.

LSU needed that dpb... Yeah I was wondering about that. Would a VT loss been enough to drop them behind Oregon in the BCS. Probably not, but it is a moot point now.

Les Miles might get his wish with a Pac Ten playing him with an easy sked for the NC.... he might not like the team he is playing.

You all are right, a playoff is direly needed. I was laughing at how the commentators have written off OSU now. Funny they only have one loss, but now it is LSU VS Oregon in the NC. Which is the game I want to see happen anyway, but still funny how they spin things. And the way this season has gone, I would not count anyone out of losing another game anyway.

Playoff Scenario (as conceived by me at this moment)
Rd 1
1 LSU vs 8 Hawai'i = LSU wins in a cakewalk
3 OU vs 6 BC = OU wins
2 Oregon vs 7 Kansas = Oregon wins
4 WVU vs 5 Ohio State = Ohio State wins a squeaker
Rd 2
1 LSU vs 5 Ohio State = LSU wins
2 Oregon vs OU = Oregon wins
Rd 3
LSU vs Oregon = Oregon wins (Pac 10 homer rears his head...finally)
This is predicated, of course, on Kansas beating Mizzou but then OU winning the Big 12 over Kansas, Ohio State winning the Big 10 over Michigan, USC beating Arizona State knocking them out of consideration. WVU wins Big East. USC loses the #8 spot to an undefeated (and untested) Hawai'i which finishes undefeated leading playoff opponents to gloat that the playoff system is no better than the BCS.

But Oregon still has ASU in the top 10 to hang their hat on. VT losing would have given LSU a win over 2 3 loss teams (pending the outcome of the UF/SCe game), and a bunch of 4 loss teams.

I want to stress that I am not advocating Oregon being ranked over LSU-personally I think LSU is the better team. It was just something I was wondering about when VT was losing.

I think they are the 2 best teams IMO...and actually, If Im being objective, UO has been the most conisistant team against stiff competition all season.
