Lampard yellow card. Won't be available for second game in Chelsea next week.

Chelsea has lost the goalkeeper in the first half and John Terry has had his foot spked a couple of times now...and has left the game. If Chelsea is without Terry, the Goalkeeper and Lampard (yellow) next week, it might not matter that the game would be at home. I am hoping Chelsea wins this thing and Bayern wins the other semi so Bayern can have a chance to avenge that debacle from two years ago.

A scoreless draw would seem to favor Chelsea for the return match. However, any draw next week other than 0-0 would give the series to Athletico as away goals count twice. Dreadful game however....anything but a beautiful game today. Hopefully Bayern-Real will be much better.
Final nil-nil

Looking more and more like this will be an all Madrid Champions League Final. Athletico leads Chelsea with less than 25 minutes to go, 2-1. That means Chelsea has to score 2 goals and hold Madrid scoreless the rest of the way. After Real's drubbing of Bayern yesterday, things must be going crazy in Spain's capital.
