Getting back a good RB in Marshall and two starting WR's in Marshall and Scott-Wesley would make the offense better. Add those guys to the players who became starters in Bennett and Conley, along with Rumph then we have depth at WR. Injuries happen and injuries actually build depth. I like the offense as it is now but who knows what happens as the season rolls along. Every game I watched for UGA last year the defense struggled with schemes. Players were lost and were making adjustments while the ball wax being snapped. Players admitted toward the end of the season that they struggled with being in the defense that was being changed when the offense lined up. CTG loved big hits and encouraged the secondary to lay the wood. I think fundamentals will be better in terms of tackling.Maybe you should have Pruitt consult with UF and practice tackling each other! I saw enough of that last year in the Auburn game where one Dawg tipped an interception away from another Dawg...

I think the Gators take a step forward this year.
Is anyone buying the Longhorns? Texas Aggies are a question mark also.
How about Southern Cal, will they rebound to the glory years?
Does Oregon remain the power house of the least coast?
Is everybody ready for some college football? You bet your sweet fanny that I am.

Brad,
Are the Vol's on there way back to the glory days of Tennessee football?

UF - sell. 3 pretty sure losses: at Bama, LSU, and at FSU. Probable loss to at UT (Vols are due). That means they have to win all the rest to get to 8 wins. Not likely. UT - buy. I like the odds of the coach in his 3rd year. I don't like UT, but I think they will be decent, maybe win the east.

Brad, Are the Vol's on there way back to the glory days of Tennessee football? I believe so. 6 wins this season and I will give you a definite yes. CFF sounds a little more confident in this season than I am, but like he said, if the lines come together, the sky is the limit.

I don't know that we will be a true top 25 team this year, but I do see 6-8 wins. That would be a buy...I think.

Lot of tradition at Tennessee. I can remember Johnny Majors running from the single wing formation. Majors was a couple of years ahead of Billy Cannon at LSU. The Tigers lost a close game 21 to 20 as Cannon was stopped on a two point try. Tigers might have won two straight NC if not for that lost. Although Ole Miss kicked the Tigers butt in the Sugar Bowl in a rematch game 21 to zip. Sounds familiar doesn't it. Don't play the same team twice after beating them once in the year.
