given who posed the question I am quite certain it is a losing record and USC is somehow at top of list of best records Totally missed the point. I have a 100% accuracy record gambling against SEC schools against the spread in the first two weeks, but I haven't by any means been betting on every game, so I'm curious what that overall record is. The reason why I do it is because the first two weeks (particularly opening weekend) is filled with people who are passionately optimistic, and no one is more passionate than SEC fans -- this skews the spread away from what is the likely outcome and toward a very difficult spread to cover in reality. The most graphic example I can provide (earned me $600 if I recall correctly) was the return game between USC and Arkansas in Fayetteville. The prior year USC fielded a brand new QB/RB pair (Leinart/Bush) and hung 70 points on Arkansas, winning the game by over 50 points. USC was now travelling to Arkansas where a true freshman QB in his very first college game ever, much less start, would be leading the Razorbacks under the guidance of a brand new head coach in HIS very first college game ever against the same USC team that hung 70 on them the prior year -- yet the spread was at one point USC by 6 (when I jumped in). That was the most insane spread I have ever seen in circumstances so clearly out of synch with reality. It was based on blind optimism and passion. Since PittND brought up gambling it just occurred to me again as I have placed any bets the last couple of years and I was curious what that overall record was, not whether they win or not, but how consistent the skewed early season spread has been too difficult to over come. Particularly in the first week when no one has even seen the teams in a game yet.

I don't seek out SEC losing records any more than I seek out USC winning records.

Did Grantham bring that punt returner with him from Georgia? Damn.

Grantham has a damn good defense in Louisville right now. FSU better hold them now or they might be in deep trouble.

Trouble a brewin along the banks of the Ohio. Don't worry about it, Jimbo said this team knows how to win?

Normally, I would come on here and laugh my ass off at FSU losing to Louisville so bad, but with what is in store for the Gators tomorrow, there will be plenty of retaliation. Aw, fuck it!!
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Winston's giving this game away Sorry bud... I disagree. UL is taking the game away. Dominating again... As usual. How bout that Auburn RB Dyer? Damn good RB.... Injured all season long. Hell... We got 3 more Dyers.

I like the attitude. Go Noles. Hell... My 2 fav teams. But I think UL is the better team. Kind of looks that way too.

What a dipshit move by the DB for Louisville. Don't try being a fucking hero. Get down when you have no where else to go.

Anyone ever see a QB cause the fumble?? Wow. Well he had to do something to salvage that horrendous read and throw he made to be put in the position to need to poke the ball loose.

Why hand the ball off that deep when you have a 230 lb QB?

Anyone ever see a QB cause the fumble?? Wow. I once saw a RB chase down a DB in a national title game cause a fumble after a turnover.
