I wonder how good that surgery really is. Brock Bowers still having issues with the ankle. Or did he get brought back too soon? Mimms seems to have similar issue. Got to believe this will hurt their draft status.

After seeing your comment, BD, I went to see what was going on and the topic they choose to throw out there is that both Bowers and Mims are dealing with hammy issues, not ankle, and will perform for teams individually. Hmmmm...

Both are projected to go in the first round and only stand to lose ground in the draft by doing a pro day. Just my .02...

Hmmmm... Leg bone connected from the ankle bone. Ankle bone connected from the heel bone. Heel bone connected from the foot bone. Foot bone connected from the toe bone

Leg and ankle injuries come back to haunt you the older you get. Personal experience.

I thought you may be insinuating the ankle was hurt again, BD. On me!

No, but it is difficult for me to believe that a hamstring injury by itself was likely if the ankle was repaired properly. I have no idea, but not sure I have seen any gained benefit from that procedure with the two Georgia players. Both came back a bit early and both were basically not available for the SEC title game.

Auburn had two guys get the tightrope surgery early this past season and both returned in about 4 weeks and played the rest of the season. Maybe UGA needs to hire Dr. Andrews.

Tight Rope surgery is the way to go these days and without question. High ankle sprains used to sideline guys for weeks and they did not get better until completely resting them and easily reaggravated
