About to become a part of the SEC crowd, I'd like to share my 1 best and 1 not so best examples as an Oklahoma fan and ask you to share yours.
Best - I was in grade school and living in Bristow Oklahoma. The high school football team was playing Henrietta High.
Leroy and Dewey Selmon were there representing OU because the QB for Henrietta was J.C Watts. The Selmons were recruiting J.C for OU. I timidly approached the Selmons( they were HUGE compared to me) They were so nice and signed autographs with no problem. Side note : Troy Aikman is from Henrietta as well.
Worst: 1978 Oklahoma vs Nebraska. Billy Sims fumbles at goal line...my dad throws his boot through the TV screen. We lived in the dark ages for a few weeks.

Best: Herschel Walker came up to my USO booth at Atlanta Airport during the height of the Iraq war. He asked me where the Troops were and I took him upstairs. He told me he had 2 extra hours between flights and he thanked me for taking him upstairs. He signed hundreds of autographs for the Troops Worst: 1991-2010 OBTW...Welcome to the Conference Where it just means MORE!!!

Was alive for the 3 90s national titles, but I can't claim them as a memory as I was still young and learning the ins and outs if football.
Best memory: Being at the Ohio State/Nebraska game where we pulled off the biggest comeback in school history, in the rain. The rain started as soon as we took the lead. It was glorious. 2011 I believe it was.
Worst memory: I'd like to forget all of 2022 really..

Best: Being at the 2022 Peach Bowl for an epic 4th quarter comeback against tOSU, complete with the missed FG as the clock struck midnight on New Years Eve. Worst: 2nd and 26 In 1864, that famous/infamous Union General, William T. Sherman, from Lancaster, Ohio, Marched to the Sea accompanied by their rally cry and song, Marching Through Georgia. In the final quarter, on the last day of 2021, General Bennett drove his Dawgs through, over and around the Ohioans for 193 yards and 18 points, ironically, to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic.

My quick answer:
Best: 2019 15-0 LSU Natty with Burrow and Co. Arguably one of, if not the, best team evah.
Worse: 2012 rematch with Alabama in the Sugar Bowl for the natty. LSU lost 21-0 and never crossed the 50 yard line.

Best: The 1990 Georgia Tech National Championship (No, the Colorado Fluffy Cows were not National Champs with 1 loss, 1 tie, and a 5th down touchdown allowed by an ignorant referee) AND 2 National Championships for Clemson
Worst: Tie between the Geoff Collins years and the Bill Lewis years as "head coach"
