Sitting in an office at the hospital when everything starts to move. Typical response “Is this and earthquake?” I ask myself. As usual, by the time I decide it’s, it’s over. 🤣
Took me back to my childhood in SoCal
That’s two earthquakes on the east coast in the last dozen years or so. Is that a sign?

Watch the doomsday crowd start crying about this being caused by the coming eclipse and it was a warning...

They had a small 2.1 Magnitude quake in the New Madrid fault which is 6 times bigger than the San Andreas fault.

It’s a sign that the tectonic plates are still moving around. Remember that there was an earthquake last week in Taiwan and the Mariannas, another in California, and subsequently on the eastern US coast. If the tectonic plates were not moving, it would be a different kind of sign - that Earth’s core is cooling and freezing, and that would be very bad. It would mark the beginning of the death of the planet as a habitable rocky spheroid. So shake, rattle, and roll, little planet. The tiny structures of the dust particle ape creatures may break or crumble, but it means that their trashy, killer life forms will continue to tear you up until you get ready to take out the garbage for good.

I remember earthquakes when I was stationed in Japan in the early 1960's. The first I remember was - I was in my bunk sleeping and I felt my bed shaking. I though someone was shaking my bunk - but it was a small earthquake. There were a few more of them during my two year tour in Japan.
Earthquakes are a reminder that we are just mere men and women on this planet with no real control over God's creation.
