I was 10, playing little league baseball in Atlanta, and Mom was working for Turner and got to go see many a Braves games, as well as many other sporting events in Atlanta while she worked there, and remember sitting on the living room floor and watching! A great moment in baseball history! God bless, hammering' Hank!!

I was fortunate enough to see two of the biggies. In late 73 I sat in Fulton County Stadium as the Hammer launched number 700 into the left field stands about 6 rows behind me. Then, in April of 74, I was in Grad School in Dayton. A bunch of us had bought tickets for the Reds opening weekend at Riverfront. Henry hit number 714 in the first game and then, as expected he was pulled from the lineup for the next two games giving him the opportunity to allow Milo Hamilton to make the greatest call of his career. I like Vin Scully's better, but this one is not bad.
