"The Associated Press Top 25 College Football Poll is expected out by 6 p.m. September 4th." I pulled that off a USC site, haven't double checked the credibility of it.

Well it says by 6 pm so I don't know if that means earlier or what.

I guess I was wrong. I thought I remembered from last year that one came out before the other (talking about AP and USA Today).

I don't know. Hopefully they'll be out soon, I'm anxious to see the shake up.

They should be unranked.

I believe they will be in the Top 20....

I say very little shake up....for there to be a major shuffle, that would indicate the Coaches and the Beat Writers had not clue to begin with...I just don't see them admitting their faults after 1 week of play.

Uranked but with votes to put them in the 27-29 range.

I agree with GT - the pollsters don't want to look like idiots - I bet the stay in the top 20 - 25 range.

I think they should drop out......a non-bcs team would definitely drop out after that loss....
Most college football fans had Michigan ranked pretty high so I don't think the pollsters should feel like idiots....this time anyway.

They will probably stay in the top 10, they did lose to the defending national champions (while holding in laughter)...

I think that Michigan is still a top 20 calibur team.....but they should have to earn that ranking back.
But it seems like most feel that Michigan will still be ranked, so Maybe a better question....
Will Michigan be ranked ahead of Tennessee?

Probably, Michigan is the biggest Journalism college in the US.

Those rankings are crazy. Texas ahead of UGA, Louisville and Cal. Just more evidence that polls before the sixth week of the season are garbage.

Yeah - but they do give us something to talk about and go WTF.

The talk would still be there BCS. We could all argue over who is going to be #1 instead of the end of the year BCS rankings getting skewed.

Besides - the only poll that counts doesn't come out until week 5 or 6 - wonder how many undefeated teams there will be when the first bcs poll is released.

Mich landed where I thought they might, I will bet a win against Oregon pushes them right back into the top 25. Nice to see my Badgers in the top 5, I know preseason and early season rankings are womewhat BS but its still nice to see them up there

Watch out for the Citadel kaara - they play ASU every year - only lost to them 42-14 last year - they might give you a game.
Of course I could be wrong.

Those rankings are crazy. Texas ahead of UGA, Louisville and Cal. Just more evidence that polls before the sixth week of the season are garbage. Texas drops after 3 after a win and you are pissed that they weren't leaped by more. By that Logic you should think LSU should be 20th. Lets get 4 or 5 weeks before we start losing out heads.

Shit you want to be pissed. Be pissed that Michigan loses to a Div1-AA school at home and is 27. FSU loses on the road and controls the second half and is 38th.

Isn't the SEC supposed to be the conference playing the 1AA teams?
