Looks like Michigan dropped completely out of the top 25. WVU moved up two spots to 4th, Rutgers Dropped. UL went up. Wisc went up ... Texas dropped and everything else stayed the same. I wonder why Texas dropped ... how do you penalize a team for winning thier season opener? Not that I am complaining.

I really expected Cal to move up a bit more than that.

If they are not impressive against a weak opponent, why would you still vote them high? Some voters just see the score and that is enough for them.
How did UCLA jump PSU for beating Stanford? (sorry, everyone else was bitching about their teams)

I really expected Cal to move up a bit more than that. Knut .. they leapfrogged Ohio State. That is good if you ask me. But OSU only played Div1AA Youngstown State. Could be the reason.

Texas struggled with a 1AA school. I still have no idea why AD's schedule those games. They are a lose, lose situation. You are either piling it on or you should have won by more. Somebody should put a stop to this shit.

Texas dropped because they had trouble beating Arkansas St. A team from the Sun Belt conference.

I am surprised Florida is getting first place votes. Getting some love for last year maybe - I didn't think they looked that bad for their first game - Let's see what happens this week -

Florida didnt look bad. I was just surprised about the first place votes because I thought LSU and USC would get them all.

Clemson beat a quality Florida State team yesterday and they are still not in the polls. I would oust Tennessee. They lost. Stick Clemson at the # 25 spot.

BB thats actually true ... I remember when WVU was 3rd last year and lost to 8th ranked UL. We dropped to 13. The problem is that Texas didnt lose. How can you penalize a team that much for winning?

Come on. Cal beat a team they were supposed to beat at home. They didn't shock the world.

Yea chi that is a little confusing - but they are only 8 points behind and TN did loose to a ranked team - also Clemson kind of disappeared for a while in the 2nd half.

I definately think Cal should've moved higher than V-Tech. I dont think so ... I think you will see a different VT team this week. They will be more focused and not as emotional.
