I wouldn't touch the va-tech game after the way they played ecu, who knows if va-tech is good or not right now. I have questions about lsu and va-tech. Eh... I have to tell ya though, LSU's defense looked pretty amazing and so did Va Tech's... I just think the game will be a little closer... ..and who keeps giving you negative karma

My lead pipe lock of the week last week was UGA -6.5.
I lost on FSU though. What an uninspired effing effort.
Won on a few other games too...I think Bowling Green was one of them. Lost on ND though. And Arizona.
Won straight up on Wyoming...keep this thread @ the top, I won't start betting heavily until later in the week.

I'll post my picks tomorrow when I'm done with all my research.
Last week I hit UGA, a 2-team parlay with BYU and Mizzou, Troy covers Arkansas (think I might play them again this week), I took Texas Tech with the recommendation of others and it was a blowout. I took Clemson straight up at +150 and hit. The only bet I didn't hit was the Texas line, but that was my light play.
I'll tell you what I already played so far, but they aren't locks:
Bama -3.5 at Vandy (big play)
2 team parlay: Mizzou -6 at Ole Miss and BC -14 vs. NCSU (medium play)
I actually bet Nebraska @ Wake Forest when the Games of the Year lines opened during the summer. I took it at -3.5 and now it is -8; I haven't ruled out hedging my bet and trying to go double or nothing on that one. (medium play)
I haven't decided if I will throw down on Georgia yet. I usually bet the under and it has hit the last 6 years I think. This shouldn't be a close game, but for some reason it usually is one. I still need to talk myself into it.
More tomorrow...

So I am only going to say this once. Take what you want from it . Now, I am NO michigan fan, and I love what APP State did to them last week. But I have a very good feeling that being an 8 point underdog to oregon this week, they are gonna come out fired up and reeling from last week and more than likely beat Oregon by 10+ points. U have to remember that this is a very solid team, no matter how bad they played last week. So if you wanna make a little green, thats not as bad of a pick as one may think.

The UGA line dropped to -3.5, so I took it. Common sense says to take the under too though; it is around 48 points and that is absurd. UGA is once again a popular upset pick and that tells me to throw down big on the Dawgs. The line opened up at UGA -5.5, so the line dropping 2 points means that cappers are betting hard on the USCe money line. You know what I have learned folks? Vegas isn't in the business of losing money; you have a better chance of winning when betting against the general public. Take the Dawgs at -3.5 on a hard play and thank me Monday.
My 5-Star lock of the week is a secret though since I used it in our CFB weekly betting game.

latiger, where did you see Oregon favored by 8, I see Michigan favored by 7? I also like Georgia to cover and don't see FSU scoring enough against anyone to cover a 34.5 spread.

Takes a real man to bet against his team (wait, you wouldn't actually make that bet would you)?
So...in the spirit of manliness...Oregon 65 Michigan 3. I'm not betting on it either way.
