Cal fell in the 1st round
UCLA was first to fall in the 2nd round
Washington, USC, Arizona, and Arizona State made it through the 1st round but have yet to play their 2nd round games.
5 of them winning the 1st round was about twice as good as I expected from them as a group. I think the 2nd round will be ugly.

Pretty scary that Arizona might be the last Pac 10 team standing.

I think Arizona and Washington both have decent chances to make it through the 2nd round. ASU has an outside chance, but they're just too damned thin on the bench.
USC has the talent to make it to the Sweet 16 or even the Elite 8, but that would absolutely require bringing their "A" game for the entire game in consecutive games, and they haven't done that all year. They've now done it in 3 games in a row, against UCLA and then ASU in the Pac 10 tournament, and now against Boston College. I don't know how many more times they'll be able to do it. They haven't been a team with positive streaks this season.

Arizona definitely shouldn't take CSU lightly. UW should win the virtual home game. USCw has all the talent to beat MSU, but I agree with Sad that they are too inconsistent and if they have even an off half, they will lose out to MSU.
The ASU/Cuse matchup is really intriguing. I don't know that ASU has anyone on their team to match up with Flynn and it will be interesting to see if ASU can shoot Cuse out of the zone. If they can, then ASU should be in a good position.

Yes, but we're still doing better than the ACC.

Washington's not looking so hot right now. Down by 10+ at the half.

Yes, but we're still doing better than the ACC. And everybody is doing better that the SEC lol! that's true. Half the Pac 10 teams are out and there's still as many teams in as the SEC started with. I'm still surprised at the number that got invites. I was sure a major conference couldn't get fewer than 5.

Sad I really like USCw chances against Mich State. They are a very hot team right now and history has shown that Hot Teams can ride a wave to the S16, E8, and even F4.
