I am pretty sure it is. Ask Slick Rick. You can however fill out a bracket, and make a donation...

Yeah, you can't be overt about it. Most will let it slide if it isn't obtrusive.

Betting is betting and unless you're somewhere that has legal gambling it's as illegal as a back room poker game.

I never really thought of it... They side that on a private place, like a house were you are playing poker with the guys, it is not..... But at your place of work, it is..... a public place, even though you may be no where near the customers..... thats nuts....
That would be a good way to get people, if they say they have never done anything illegal i mean.....
Appearently one of the guys invited a COP friend of his to get in on the Office pool...... I guess he deserves it if he is that stupid.....

I can't say if it's the same everywhere, but I'm pretty sure even in your private home it's illegal to bet money in a card game.

legal schmegal. how can you have laws that 90% of the population thinks are utter bullshit. i'm gonna check on my bracket while smoking pot and getting a blowjob from a shemale tonight.... all the while burning the flag and giving nuclear secrets to the russians. alright, that last law may have some significance, but the others don't.
