Just a friendly KU recruiting update. There's a lot of talk right now that KU is the front runner for the number 9 rated recruit in the country Lance Stephenson. The University of Kansas already has commitments from the #18 rated player in the country Thomas Robinson, and #27 rated prospect Elijah Johnson. Add to the that the transfer from Arizona Jeff Withey (2008 #36 rated player in HS) and it looks like the Jayhawks will reload again next year. The only question is will both Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich leave for the NBA... cuz if not there's going to have to be some scholarship magic going on as KU would have 15 scholarship players.

I think that Stephenson stays on the East Coast.

I did too for a while, but a lot of what he's been saying the last couple of weeks points to Kansas. Most recruiting folks have been saying he's leaning towards Kansas big... so I'll take it!
