Ken Griffey Jr. hit a HR last night for the Mariners. It was his 400th career homer as a member of the Mariners (Chipper Jones is the only other current player with 400 HR for one team).
Shows you how prolific he was...and how injuries hampered him in Cincy for 9 years (only 212 HRs).
It was fitting that he did it on Jackie Robinson day. I saw every player wearing number 42 (something Griffey began by asking permission to wear it himself a couple of years ago).

Congrats Junior! Glad to have you home. The park that he built...he went yard in (not many times before then...). Too bad it didn't work out for him when he went to Cincy. Sometimes doing the right thing...doesn't work out. Keep hitting um kid!

He was my favorite Red when he was in Cincy.
Congrats to him for the great accomplishment!

Yep he has been my favorite player since the time I could watch TV and swing a bat (always like Jr.).
It didn't hurt that he was the best in the game and left handed like I was...so.. .
I was so glad when he came to the Reds...but it unfortunately didn't work out too good.
