Yankees manager Joe Girardi insisted Chien-Ming Wang was not hurt. He also said that because Wang was out of minor league options, there was no way to send him to the minors without giving other teams a chance to claim him. -- NY Times

Did You Know? In three starts, Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang is 0-3 with an earned run average of 34.50. He would need to throw 48 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings to reach a 3.79 E.R.A., his career mark before this season. Wang has permitted 23 earned runs in just six innings this season. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, no Yankees starter has allowed as many earned runs in his first three starts of a season. -- NY Times

I do wonder what they do with Wang.
I mean the headline possibilities are just perfect for the newspaper guys.
"Wang gets beat all over the field" "Wang gets pounded" "Wang leaves balls too high and they are spanked"
Just endless...and the guys has been struggling a great deal. Too bad he has to pitch in the bandbox that is New Yankee Stadium (that is a slight oops in the configuration apparently...well they only spent 1.5 billion dollars on it...)

I watched him on Sat. and he couldn't throw the ball below belt high if you teed it that low.
If his arm isn't hurt then he changed his mechanic terribly because his relase point was way off.
