I guess I'm happy about this? I love to hate both C Ronaldo (the real Ronaldo is brazilian and slightly overweight) and Man U so they were a good fit. He is a selfish player and a diver and I love watching him pout and cry every time he misses a shot. I think this is a great move by Man U though, he did score goals from the wing but he is not a team player and they got a boatload of cash for him. the worst part about this is that Man U are either going to get Franck Ribery from Bayern or Karim Benzema from Lyon, so either the Bundesliga or Ligue 1 are going to lose one of their brightest stars. In summary, I hate Man U.

Isn't that just the transfer fee that Real Madrid paid to Man U?

Isn't that just the transfer fee that Real Madrid paid to Man U? yup... he won't see a dime of that... his contract will probably be around $70 million

Just a pub stunt from what I've read. Maybe that's wrong. Any thoughts?

well, from what I know about them is that, this money just keeps goes from one team to the next... so now Man U will probably turn around and use that money to pay for the transfer fee for one or two more players. I do think they money actually changes hands, but the fact that is such a high amount, is standard, so not as big of a deal as in other sports... like the Sox paying $51mill to talk to Dice-K.
Hope that makes sense... they just keep shifting the money back and forth.
