The Razorbacks have caught fire in the post season. They beat a pretty solid CSF team today fairly easy.

Good luck to LSU. I'm excited to watch this game. I don't expect UVa to win, but it's been fun watching them play this year, I like their youth and talent and this may be a great game tonight.

UVa is making the LSU pitcher work for it so far.

UVA has a very classy and gritty team. I expect them to become familiar with Omaha over the next few seasons.

Good thing Erin Andrews is a looker, cause she is not a good reporter.
Nice win by LSU, and I like the way UVA plays the game.

I saw bits and pieces of the game and UVA performed really well for such a young team. Maybe they can get something going in the losers bracket.
PoeJoe,
Does UVA have a new coach?

Brian O'Connor has been in C'ville for about 5 or 6 years now.

Brian O'Connor has been in C'ville for about 5 or 6 years now. Yeah, I knew that coach didn't look to be the same as when I was at UR, but then again that was 10 years ago. Sounds like this guy is actually putting together a solid program in Whoooville.

I can't help but admire the guy. He never says anything in the least bit arrogant, he's very cool and calm. I'm just sorry he's at UVa. His players are pretty business-like on the field and they all seem to like to play for him.

UVA when I was in school was a decent program, but at that point UR was better and beat them up pretty routinely. Plenty of talent for him to recruit around the state. He could build a nice program there.

The ASU/UNC game has been a solid pitchers' duel through 5 1/2 innings. Been enjoyable to watch. UNC just tied the game up with base hit up the middle.

Whew! Watching that UNC/ASU game put me to sleep. I appreciate good pitching, maybe it was the two announcers...BO-ring!
Hope this Texas/USM game is more exciting.

UVA up on Fullerton in the 5th: 4-3. Now that would be something else. CSF, 2 games and done possibly in the CWS.

Call me old school but I like that both Cal State Fullerton and Virginia have tried to play a little small ball (even though conditions favor swinging for the fences).
I do think they need to go away from Aluminum at the college level.
UVA now up 6-3.

UVa seems to have an answer during the early innings if they get behind. They approach these games very business-like and don't let things affect them. Still, I'm not sure they will have enough experience to win it all. Next year...

Texas was not impressive at all.

Hopefully the good guys can win this one.... Didn't know the Razorbacks were the good guys? ;D Seriously, good luck to the Bayou Bengals. I'm not sure anyone can beat them. I'd like to see them get matched up against UNC at the end. I think that might be an interesting series.
