Great strikeout to get out of the jam. That could hurt the Hogs. Waste a PH and get nadda!

Coleman got into a bit of a jam in the 3rd but he has his normal salty stuff. 5 k's through 3 innings.

He's got a weird 3/4 delivery but it seems to work well for him.

Both HR's tonight hit by true Freshman. Wow. The program is in good hands. BTW, your coach seems like a total class act. Nice interview he gave an inning ago. I've always thought Orel Hershiser to be a class act and he speaks highly of him.

He was a questionable hire but that just goes to show you that fans will question anything. He took over a program that really fell to 2nd tier after Skip stepped down. He has recruits knocking his door down now which is the way it use to be back in the 90"s. Kinda like USC and Notre Dame in football during their hay day.

I like our chances with Coleman on the bump, 8 run lead, and 12 outs to go.
LSU up 9-1 going into the bottom of 6th

Yeah, I remember the LSU teams with guys like Ben McDonald on them. Damn strong teams back then. Tough to replace a legend like Skip. Looks like LSU has found their man this time around though. They're surely ripping it up tonight.

I didn't want to see LSU face that scrappy Virginia team again but I like what I've seen out of LSU today against Arky. Coleman took care of business.
How about Texas getting that gift from USM last night?

I would really like to see Southern Miss beat North Carolina...as many chances as the Tarheels have had at the CWS, they need to lose and go home for a long time.

As much as I would like to see USM beat UNC, I just don't see USM being able to match the 'heels on the mound.

Those speeches are kinda tough to give. You have to do it based on your audience and sometimes the things that get your team going is different then the other team. The other day I was talking to the kids pregame and made a joke about laying bunts down the third base line, and the 3B not being able to throw them out unless he thought the ball was a cheeseburger. They laughed, and it relieved some of the tension they were feeling.

First off, I was obviously completely wrong on the Zona St/UT game....I though Zona St had more than what they showed.
The UVA/Arkansas game tonight has been a pretty nice pitching duel.
Scoreless through 3 1/2.

GT I was way off on the Zona Texas game too. I thought Zona's pitching would overpower the spotty Texas hitting. It seems the West Coast pitching was not all it was cracked up to be based on the results up till now.
I wouldn't mind seeing Arky and Virginia get deep into their bullpen today. Good game up to this point. I understand that I wear the P&G goggles but LSU looks like the team to beat right now.
