GD raised this point the other day. Well, maybe not the exact point, but it was along these lines... For once, I agree with the ACLU. Full story at www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,526972,00.html

First, it's from Fox so it's probably not true. Second, our country is so perfect and impossible to ever go astray that protesting is just for hippies and anarchists.

I think the fourth answer is a typo - it was supposed to read "Prostate exam" which IS a form of LOW-LEVEL Terrorism. ;d

It makes me wonder if the person who wrote the question was considering a specific type of protest (which is a VERY general term). Marching down the street setting cars on fire and smashing every window in site is definitely a low-level form of terrorism. It's intended to frighten adversaries into accepting something desired by the perpetrators.

What news sources do you recommend for anyone who wants accurate information? That was sarcasm pj. There are a few on the board who wouldn't believe Fox News if it said the sun was going to rise tomorrow. I personally will read any news (not commentary) and check the facts somewhere else. I do notice that a lot of news sites try influence opinions with the way they frame stories or the rhetoric they use. Still, I don't think most of the major news sites are to the point where they make facts up or lie except in rare cases. The just try to push stories that fit their agenda or try to influence the readers view of a particular story.

It's intended to frighten adversaries into accepting something desired by the perpetrators. I think the key is the term "low level terrorism". I am sure the others are considered "high level". However, who was the genius who thought this (a) should be released and (b) didn't think attaching any terrorist term to protest was a bad idea.

I think its a typo. Should have left the IED off the answers. The reason being. If you have a large protest for whatever reason. This will require a large number of police, security, Fire department, med personel to be in place to keep order. This ties up that city/town and opens the door for more serious action on behalf of the terrorists.
I dont agree with it due to the fact that, if the above is true. Then the same would be true regarding public speaches by the prez or whomever else. Same people need to be in place in case of an emergency, opening the door for something to happen.
