Getting ready to start right now. I don't have a dog in the fight, but for the good LSU folks on here, I'd like to see them pull it out.
They certainly have stud on the mound tonight.

Mtichell turns on an inside pitch that hung a bit and drives it just fair out of the park. 3-0 Bayou Bengals.

Looks like the ump wants to be stingy with the zone again tonight.

Getting deep into that Texas pitching now. 2 pitching changes this inning.

LSU gets Mathook home on an error and then sacrafice. 6-4. Still someone on 3rd with 2 outs. LSU could get another across.

LSU blowing this open with 2 outs. 2 straight HBP forcing in a run and then a 2 run single with bases loaded. 9-4.

Great comeback by LSU after Texas tied it up. Texas is running through pitchers like water through a colander.

Good grief Chad Jones is one hell of an athlete. He is a scary ass dude dealing as a lefty reliever. He reminds me a bit of Brian Jordan, except he's a pitcher. Great safety/solid baseball player. Announcers are right. He might be able to play both professionally.

Congrats to GT, Redstick, and Knut!! It's been fun watching your team over the last few weeks. They came up big tonight. Hell if I were you guys, I'd keep raiding the football team. Some great players there.

Man I didn't turn it on until kinda late, but LSU was a great baseball team this year. They got the title, and really earned it against a really good Texas team.

Tied game! This is gonna kill me. Your teams should just play like mine in the Big game. I figured I would make the joke before anyone else did. I was glad to see that Coleman was able to finish the game off, since it is what he came back to school for.

That was a fantastic interview by Augie. He's truly a legend and was gracious in defeat. He had a great team out there. Just came up a bit short tonight. LSU was the better team top to bottom.

Agreed. Really like the LSU manager as well, and seeing him with his dad was outstanding. Congrats to LSU. Glad Coleman was on the mound, and glad that Mitchell picked up a ring in both Football and Baseball while he was in college (but did get drafted in the first round of the MLB draft).

The moment with Manieri and his father was something special. He seems like a class act as well.

I didn't have a dog in the fight, but the neighbor's dog was. That little bastige spends all of its time yapping at my heels, peeing all around the conference, I mean yard, trying to prove its the big dog.
Congrats LSU. Great win and a nice blow out!!!
