Yes and don't forget the WAC's two previous BCS appearances! They won one against Oklahoma in a thriller. The other one...well lets not mention that one...

Three years after beating OU in the Fiesta Bowl and this is the Boise OOC schedule? Oregon Miami (OH) Bowling Green UC Davis Tulsa If a BCS team were to have that as an OOC slate they would be slow roasted over a hot fire. If Boise wants to be taken seriously, and looked at in the same light as a competitive BCS team, then they need to step it up and put together a schedule that shows they are serious. Or they would be the #1 team in the country Florida Gators. Regarding the Miami (OH) & Bowling Green Games (and Toledo who they also played), at the time those games were sceheduled, the MAC was THE mid-major conference. If I'm not mistaken, all 3 of those teams spent time in the Top 25 5 years ago or so and the MAC then was what the MWC is now. No problem with those games at all.

Oh, almost forgot the most important part.... Proof that LSU sucks! Winner winner chicken dinner. This is obviously the point of the thread. Or perhaps that Boise's schedule really is good. Either way...

Come on guys, 2 pages and not one that equates to what the thread initiator was looking for..... I give it the old College try: Here goes: La Tech is in the WAC, the WAC is awesome but gets no respect. La Tech went into Baton Rouge and played to Mighty Tigers to within 8 points and thus proves that the WAC is fucking increadible. Boise is also in the WAC, Boise is undefeated, therefore, Boise is more incrediable than the 86 Chicago Bears. I know it doesn't give the WAC enough credit but I tried....... That shit's WAC man.

Sorry to get off topic again, but I'd like to address some things. Yes Boise would be a long drive for the fans. Drive? Boise can't drive to a handful of games. They play across 6, I think, time zones. If Boise can travel so can any team and fans. Boise's AD was talking about the 3 western AQ conferences as only being the prefered matchups geographically. They will travel anywhere East as well for a good matchup.
Boise has simply outgrown their current home in a very short period. They have been D1a since 96? and find themselves needing big boy competition to match their talent before they have had time to establish these relationships. These will come with time, but it won't be soon enough for many.
As for the LSU game, ---Lsu showed they are capable of big plays, but this WAC team dominated every statistical catagory. Whether it says something about LA. Tech. or it says something else about LSU. Every statitistical catagory. You be the judge as to what that says.
