Say bye bye to Bay's career... Al a David Wright... That park will suck tye life out of anyones career... I wish him luck though.

I think he made a mistake. He won't put up better numbers anywhere but Fenway.
Also a kid from Maine should have stuck with the Red Sox. He was loved by the fans, produced well, and played on a really good team.
Not sure I get the move. The cost of living in NY will negate the salary difference, and not being on the Sox seems like a mistake to me.
Wish him the best...but am afraid this is a major mistake for his career.

It might get the Sox in on the Matt Holliday sweepstakes. Might end up costing the Cardinals a little more money...

sources close to the Sox say they are getting close with Beltre... If that does fall through though, I would venture to guess that they would get in on the Holliday sweepstakes, as Elsbury will probably packaged with Buckholtz for a corner infielder.
also, I don't think the decision for Bay to leave wasn't him, I think something within the Sox organization didn't let this happen.
