Good stuff BB. Don't worry no one will be talking about the Brew Crew much after the beginning of April either.

Crap.....Messed up my predictions. I'll now project that the Phillies beat the Cubs every time they play. So give the Phils a few more wins.

Phillies come to Turner Field to start series Tuesday night. Another chance for Mr Heyward to shine. After two weeks only, the young man has been sensational. Hopefully the trend will continue this week against Philadelphia.

Hopefully the trend will continue this week against Philadelphia. It should be a fun series. Phils need to get back on track after losing 2 of 3 against Florida. Braves will face Halladay in one of those games, probably Thursday, but maybe Wednesday.

Haliday vs Hudson. Should be interesting. In the other two matchups, will take the Bravos....Moyer vs Lowe and Hanson vs Happ.

Moyer vs Lowe could be fireworks night at Turner field. Lowe has the wins this year, but only b/c they are scoring in bunches for him, not b/c he can get anyone out this year.
Happ and Hanson could be a matchup of good young arms. Happ needs to find his location better or it could be a long night.
I'll take Halladay in the other matchup. He's been devastating so far in his early go around in the NL. Be interesting to see if teams adjust to him later on in the year.

Thank God for Roy Halladay!

The Braves have sucked and generally are not hitting well, even in the midst of what appears headed for a 3 game sweep of the Astros (following that ugly, ugly 9 game losing streak).
But Jason Heyward continues to amaze. Three consecutive days of home runs and 23 plus RBIs on a team that offers him no protection. Three RBIs today.

So toph, you ready for the best team in the NL to come to Philadelphia tomorrow?

So toph, you ready for the best team in the NL to come to Philadelphia tomorrow? I didn't know the Brewers played the Phillies.

Well the Cards miss Halladay, so the Phils will have to continue the hitting of the last 2 games, which I'm quite confident that they can.

Nice outing by Jamie Moyer today! Flipping amazing at his age. The guy litterally is at an age where he could easily have grand kids. I don't think he does, but damn. Thing about Moyer is he actually eats innings b/c he throws so light, he doesn't get much wear and tear on the arm. Even last Sunday's game against the Mets, he settled down after the first couple of innings and got enough outs to let the Phils offense get going. Just the most bizarre thing to me.

Yep, the MIGHTY Braves have gotten 2 unearned runs of Moyer in the last two games. Moyer has been amazing, but shutting down these utterly inept batters is not so amazing.
Phillies will run away with this division, but the Nationals could be a sleeper. Bobby Cox's last season will be a disaster and Braves fans can only hope that Terry Pendleton is not a serious candidate to do anthing with this team.

If the Phils pitching continues to step up like it has over the last week or so, then they will be a tough out for ANY NL team.
Hamels is the key and he seems to be getting back to his form of 2008 and if he does, then it will be tough to beat them.
The Nats are certainly surprising people, but the Phils have their number, so I think there would have to be alot of injuries to pull them back in the race.
