Bayern leads Barca 2-0 at the 49 minute mark through goals from Thomas Mueller at the 25th minute and Mario Gomez in minute 49. The return match is in Barcelona on 1 May.

At the 73d minute Bayern jumps to a 3-0 lead with Robben's goal, scored on a beautiful pass from Schweinsteiger. Schweine has completely controlled the best player in the world, Lionel Messi today.
Now the German Champs need to keep Barca from getting that important away goal. If they do, they will be sitting in pretty good shape as they head to Spain next week.

Now they are blowing the doors off of the Spanish Champions. Thomas Mueller makes it 4-0 in the 82d minute.

Dortmund is up 4-1 vs Real Madrid in the 75th minute. Looking good for an All-German Final with Robert Lewandowski with 4 goals. Interesting that Gotze's last game for Dortmund will be against his new team for next year.

Bayern has the bucks...or rather Euros. The talks with Goetze have been going on since the Bundesliga Winter Pause when I was over there. Dortmund looks good and would love to make amends for Bayern running away with the Bundesliga this year after two years of Black and Gold domination in the league.
The only negative for Dortmund is that single away goal that Real got. It is hard to conceive of Bayern not making it since Manfred Neuer is probably the best keeper in the world right now. Then again, if you looked at how Bayern totally dominated Chelsea last year, you would never believe that they would lose. It certainly looks promising for an all German final though.

Winston Churchill is probably turning in his grave. Looks like May 25 will be Bayern and Dortmund in Wembley Stadium. That will certainly be a strange one as one of the two Bundesliga teams attempts to do what Goering failed to accomplish 70 plus years ago.
