Aaron Nola throws a two hitter for the Tigers in their win over the Sooners. Nola out dualed Jonathan Grey who was drafted #3 in the MLB draft. Grey was touched for two runs in the bottom of the 7th as LSU had a triple from JaCoby Jones, a double by pitch hitter Ty Moore and then a single by Mark Laird.
A terrific college baseball game. Record crowd of over 11,000 in Alex Box Stadium tonight.

Filth is usually a bad thing - unless you're throwing it

The Tigers need to have Ryan Eades have a good game tonight. He has had a couple of poor ones lately. A good performance will give him confidence to carry it forward to Omaha. But first things first, the Tigers need a win tonight to stamp their ticket to Omaha.

UL #1 so fuck it Well actually UNC is the #1 seed and Vandy was the #2 seed. Oregon State is 3, LSU #4, Fullerton was #5, Virgina is #6, and FSU was #7. Louisville didn't make the top 8. Oregon was #8 but was eliminated by Rice.

ESPN has completely fucked up our super regional. They moved Friday's game due to television coverage because it would have been delayed. Now today's game is probably going to be delayed until tomorrow. Horrible.

That doesn't change the fact that this Super Regional is now stretched out to 5 days. A complete fail by ESPN.

Those Starkvegans have looked pretty good in their super. I still think LSU and UL are playing the best ball right now.

Espn declined to play the game Friday afternoon because of their tv schedule, despite the fact bad weather was on the way Monday. Where did I say it adversely affected our play? Frustrating when you have tickets you can't use because of it.
